iPhone 7 Searching Service

Recently bought an iPhone 7 and am having troubles with the service. The first couple hours I activated it worked fine but now says "searching" in the top left corner. Can't send or recieve calls or texts.

Hi there, @CJHill009! Thank you for letting us know about this. Definitely want to look into this for you. Can you please try these steps?

1. Tap Phone > Tap Key Pad.
2. Type ##UPDATE# (##873283#).
3. Phone will process updates. Then Tap OK.
4. When Service Update is complete, tap OK.
