This is the strangest policy ever. On top of paying the phone fully off and multiple people having it on the boost account for multiple periods of about 8 months, it is still not enough. How is that possible? I’ve been with boostmobile for 10 years and you will loose me as a customer over this. I bought the phone from my friend and want to give it to my mother for her tracfone. She is a cancer survivor and I just want to give her this iPhone 7 Plus. This policy is ridiculous. This phone should be unlocked. You have already made enough money on it why you so greedy?

Sorry for any inconvenience. All of our phones are made to work exclusively in our network, some phones qualify for unlocking, but that does not guarantee that the phones can work on other networks. To unlock your device, you'll need to meet some requirements.

1. The device must be turned on in the Sprint coverage area with the Boost Mobile SIM card in it.

2. The person requesting the device to be unlocked must be a current or former customer or an individual owner who can provide the phone number and PIN code for the account last associated with the device.

3. The device has not been reported as lost or stolen.

4. The device has been activated at least 12-months, and at least a payment has been made within the last 90 days of that 12-month activation.

Listen I can provide everything on the account holder. She called with me and boost said it would take two days which never came. I then called and they tried to make me connect the phone to my active account because they said she needed a couple more months to reach one year, even though this phone has already been on different accounts on past for 2 years. In all my 10 years as a customer with boost, I have never felt so cheated by this company.

Im still waiting. I sent all the info.... I was told today that the phone is unlocked but i am unable to use another SIM.. What game is this??? You guys have me 1 second from switching to another carrier!!!
