Need help cancelling my account

I just recently received the text message that Virgin Mobile will be discontinuing and that my service will be automatically transferred to Boost Mobile. I don't want to use Boost Mobile, so is there any way to cancel my account permanently?

I've tried calling, but the automated prompts are not giving me any option to cancel my account.
