ICCID error when attempting activation

New customer (hopefully soon as they’re cheapest but finding customer service is lacking) to virgin. Got an unlocked iPhone 11 which is compatible with Verizon. Was told by Apple I can buy in full, remove Verizon SIM card and replace with virgin when received in the mail. Checked eligibility on virgin website and said it was compatible. Receive sim in mail and ICCID code is t recognized (and has different codes on iPhone box and SIM card?). Spent an hour and a half with no help from virgin customer service and after getting hung up on twice someone told me I have to go back to Apple and get a compatible iPhone (despite virgin mobile site saying it was compatible). At this point thinking about just going with t mobile or sprint....

Get Iphone XR. Its compatible.
