Has anyone ever recived a Iphone with a already used IMEI number.
After 2 techs and a hour trying to config what should be a new apple 10s I was told by support the IMEI number was already in use and the only option I have is to return the phone.
When asked how this could happen he said it was already used, I am not sure if he was refering to the phone or something else.
After digging farther into the system I found.
IMEI is currently reserved for a Customer, either due to a pending port-in request or an Installment Billing loan, and cannot be activated for another Customer. Please try your transaction with another device.
Any thoughts before this phone goes back and I look else where after a very long time with Virgin?
