Am I required to provide my SSN as part of the '12 mos. for $1 unlimited service' offer?

I try not to give my social security number out.

I did a little reading and found that "Virgin Mobile has no annual service contracts" and "Membership in the Inner Circle does not require a credit check, and no service commitment is required", but someone said you have to provide a SSN anyway. Is this true?

Thanks

Hi. Prepaid service does not require the use of a Social Security card. Victor21

Thanks Victor21.

Just to confirm:

The current '12 mos. for $1 unlimited service' promotion that involves buying an iPhone, signing up for Inner Circle, and enrolling in AutoPay counts as "Prepaid service" and does not require users to provide their SSN at any point in the process?

Your help is much appreciated.
