Tethering/hotspot information

I'm very frustrated... Just payed bill and saw that I do have hot spot on my plan... But when I go to teether my stylo 2.. Boost pops up and says I'm not subscribed...Customer service hung up on me 3 times and resolution had not been made... This is what my plan says.(what could this be interpreted as?)

Are you on the $50 plan for boost mobile?

If you are then you are correct you're plan comes with 8GB of Hotspot

what happends if you still connect the hotsopt even though it say to subscribe?

Hi.

@Dmodaisy711 I am a Boost Mobile Customer but I don't own the LG Stylo 2.  I did hear that the initiall rollout of Android Nougat on LG Stylo 2 broke the usage of mobile hotspot feature.  but the hospot has been fixed via most recent update to Stylo 2. Please check for updates on your Stylo 2. do this to check if any update is available for your device. . 
Step 1: From the home screen, use two fingers to swipe down the Status bar.
Step 2: tap the Settings icon.
Step 3: From the General tab, scroll to and tap System updates.
Step 4: Tap Update LG software.
Step 5: Tap CHECK FOR UPDATE.

If a system update is available, follow the prompts to install the update.

Note: Before installing a software update, ensure the device is fully charged. For optimal results, it is recommended to connect the device to any Wi-Fi network if available.

I do not have the 8 gig hot spot.. But am still being offered a service as in line 5....
So why am I not getting it?

It immediately disconnects my tethering and a pop-up days I'm not subscribed

I've updated... This is not a phone problem... But a boost mobile problem

I don't like either.. I thought it supposed to unlimited WiFi hot spot.. not very happy

I have the same problem. Very frustrated.

Lost so much time talking to 5 different customer support people.

Was transferred to LG twice.

No resolution. !!!

I checked for the updates as suggsted. 

My phone is up to date...

Me too. Was fine the other day. Please help me. I need my hotspot. My phone isn't the problem
