I need more than a 8GB hotspot, how can increase it? Is there an add/different plan that will help?

I am currently paying $60 for unlimited Call/Text/Data which comes with an 8GB shareable hotspot. It's proving to not be nearly enough and I often find myself inconvenience rather early in the month once the 8GBs is gone. Is there a plan that offers unlimited hotspot? If so how much and how do I switch to it? If there is no plan, is there an option to increase the hotspot GBs received each cycle? I saw in a response on someone else's post that there was something that added an additional 10GB (which would give me a total of 18GB) for $50. Is that true? What do I have to do to make that happen. My children use the hotspot for homework/projects etc, so it's pretty important that I find a solution that will be more convenient because I would hate to have to drop Boost for someone more accommodating. Thank You.

Hi TWelch726! Unfortunately, we don't have an unlimited Hotspot feature and it's not possible to add more Hotspot GB to your plan. We apologize for the inconveniences that this may cause you. However, we do have available a Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspot device (https://www.boostmobile.com/#!/shop/hotspots/zte-warp-connect/features/) that you can purchase online for $49.99. You can activate it with one of these monthly plans: $25 1.5GB and $50 10GB. If you run out if data, you can purchase a data pack: $5 1GB or $10 2GB. No cell company offers unlimited hotspot. I do feel it could be increased to 10GB though.

Actually, AT&T, Verizon, and I believe Sprint offer unlimited hot spot. I'm a trucker and need to use my laptop on the road. I've been worth Boost about 9 years now. I'm starting to believe this ship has run its course. For $20 more a month, I get 10GB LTE hot spot, then it's slowed to 128kb/s, unlimited. It sucks that boost manages to stay 5 years behind. I can't even get the Galaxy note 8.

This is incorrect.

The carriers are starting to milk users in a different way. It started when they added a * to "unlimited" terminology.

Dirtiest tricks of salesmen.

There is no carrier any longer that carries ANY unlimited, except Verizon, at 80$ a month, for 600kbps. But on the flip side of that plan, you don't get 4G LTE.

Personally I'm tired of being lied to, and carriers should change their terminology. All prepay has 5-10GB for mobile hotspots. I personally think prepay deserves better rates and maxes than post-pay. If someone came to me and said, "I'll give you money now upfront" as compared to someone who says, "ya, I'll give ya the money at the end of the month". I would go with the person who has the money right away as having more "credit" than the one mooching.
