unlocked US Samsung s9 NMS error when trying to activate

I just bought a US unlocked s9 and have gotten a boost mobile BYO phone kit. When trying to activate it is saying my IMEI is not in the NMS. Help please.

To send a private message just click on the picture of any Boost Mobile agent and, in the next screen, click "send this user a private message".
