I am a Sprint customer. I purchased a GS7 from a former Boost customer (who's since ported his phone# over to Metro PCS). I thought I was fine, as I had made sure the phone was paid off, not reported lost or stolen, and says it is locked to Sprint SIMs. But apparently not. When I tried to get it activated on my Sprint account, they told me that I still need to have Boost unlock it. So I called Boost customer service. They didn't want to talk to me because I wasn't the account owner. So I asked the person I bought it from to call for me. He did so. But they asked him for his PIN, which he says he can't remember. This shouldn't be so difficult. Can anybody out there help me with this please?
