Swap service from S7 to a S9 but the IMEI shows the # doesn’t work

Does the S9 (SM-G965U) need to be Provisioned into the system how do I do that?

I did not want to tap the activation As I didn’t know if I could stop once started, or trying to find out if the Sim card from my S7 is usable in the S9

In that case, you need to purchase the SIM card because the one you're using will not be compatible @Takk1956.

So I can click on “activate now” and it will proceed to where I can order the card? I was mainly concerned about proceeding and have it affect my current service if it didn’t  work.

I have looked all over the website trying to find where I can order the SIM that I need .. Is it not available For purchase of just the Sim on the website I can’t find it anywhere going little bit nuts Going back-and-forth and have yet to find a single Sim card link
