Go to the bring your phone page do it from there . Customer service told me the same thing . I did it on the bring your own phone page no problems

Hi Guys, need your help again!! Just ordered the S9+ ( yes, took the dive Robot Happy ). How can I order the SIM CARD from boost online? Do I have to go to the store? Do I need to wait for the phone to arrive? Only get 15 days to send the trade in so I'm trying to expedite everything I can. Thank you all for your support!!!!!

Try best buy, target, or even walmart.. Hey have these 3 sim card activation kits that ypu can buy for 10 dlls and it will guide you on how to activate it once you get it. Welcome to the s9 team

@neosirisThanks, just ordered the SIM from Best Buy ($18 S/H included), should be here this afternoon or sometime tomorrow. Now just wait for the phone.

I'm currently with a different carrier but I have decided to switch to Boost Mobile.  I'm not tech savvy and I'm disheartened to learn that Boost Mobile doesn't even have live chat for help. My phone is broken so I was thinking of replacing it with Samsung Galaxy S9 plus which is not available at Boost Mobile store, unfortunately..  I came across this website tonight instead of a live chat from Boost Mobile. I thought this was Boost Mobile but it's a community forum instead.  So I found your reply, Community Manager if we {just signed in} would like your step by step assistance on how to go about bringing in Samsung Galaxy S9 plus from Samsung store online and having it activated online as well. The salients points are these from what I gathered from the forum: Buy an unlocked phone from Samsung store online, buy the sim card from Boost store or target or best buy where available and go through the Bring your own phone page from Boost Mobile Site and follow instructions that came with the Sim card and voila your Samsung galaxy s9+ will work! I hope I can be as good as the rest. My question is this, can I keep my old cell phone number from my current carrier? How?

@NYCKid Thank you so much for letting me know. I'm much in doubt because I asked the Boost Mobile store in Woodside in Queens, NY and the salesperson kept telling me that I can't keep my own number if I'm coming from Sprint. If I'm coming from another carrier except for Sprint yes I can. So I went to Sprint live chat. All of the care specialists I spoke to from Sprint assured me I can keep my own phone number.  Boost Mobile store said their system won't allow it. That's why I went to Sprint and asked again two different care specialists. Both assured me yes I can. One of them gave me a number to call if I ran into trouble. Now the problem for me is if I do the activation online how can a number to call from Sprint help me to keep my number to Boost Mobile? My dilemma is if I go to another store in Queens would they give me the same answer as the store from Woodside? Will this problem go away if I do the activation in Boost store? Three issues were. in my head: since Samsung Galaxy S9 plus is not in Boost store.. Two issues were resolved from Community forum. If buying outside buy an unlocked phone from Samsung store and sim card from Boost store or target or best buy. The third one is keeping my own number from Sprint which is still unresolved. All of these are all hanging in the air because I don't want to buy the S9 plus if I can't keep my own number and there are no other phones that I want from Boost Mobile. except for its plan which is the same I have from Sprint but without the added taxes and incidental fees. Other carriers don't have it except for Boost. Sprint's Samsung Galaxy S9 plus is way too expensive for me to buy outright and if I lease I have to stay with them. which I don't want anymore since I can go to Boost for the same plan for less. Can any care specialist from Boost help me with this issue if I can keep my own number for a Samsung Galaxy S9+ bought from outside? S9 plus is way too expensive to buy if I can't resolve this issue. I'll be forced to stay with Sprint then. and buy the phone from them and stay with my current plan or go to other carriers. Thank you.

Hi there, @ali_ofqny! We can definitely help you out switching your number from Sprint to Boost Mobile. Because the phone number is coming from Sprint, we have to do a migration which is a different process and can only be performed through customer care. As soon as you get the SIM card, contact us, and send us a private message with the following information:

 

 

1. Name and last name.
2. Full address, including zip code.
3. Sprint phone number.
4. Sprint PIN/password.
5. MEID/DEC number and UICC/SIM card number of the phone that you would like to activate.
6. Price plan that you would like to have with Boost Mobile.
7. 4 Digit PIN that you would like to have with Boost Mobile
