I need help unlocking a preowned S8 Plus. The phone was a gift from a friend who was a Sprint customer and was eligible to be unlocked; however, after an update in early November, the phone asks for Boost Mobile account information to proceed with the account setup. Prior to this update the phone required a Sprint account. Contacting Sprint support ended with them telling me to contact Boost Mobile support. I still have the original SIM card installed.
