GALAXY S8 NETWORK LOCK

You know when i bought my Galaxy S8 i was not told that it can not be network unlocked until a year active. Found out when i tried to switch last month cause of the "tower enhancements" what a huge suprise i got cause that is there way to keep you by force.
THIS IS SOLELY MY OPINION...

Re: GALAXY S8 NETWORK LOCK

Hi, @Est3ban! There are some requirements to unlock a device:
-The device has not been reported as lost or stolen.
-The device has been active for at least 12 months on the same account.
- A payment has been made within the last 90 days.

Re: GALAXY S8 NETWORK LOCK

I believe that is why their prices are so low.  By keeping the buyer on their plan for at least 12 months before allowing the release of the Network Lock.  It makes sense really, because if you go to Samsung, com or another site, you are paying closer to $750 + for an unlocked phone.
