Could you explain to me what the difference is between leaving the settings on Auto and switching to LTE?

Dial ##72786# (don't press call).
- The phone will restart.
- When the phone is on, unlock the screen.
- Wait for the activation process.
- The phone will do some updates and restart (this process may take from 2 to 4 minutes).
- Test the service again when the phone is back on.
