I have a family plan with 2 lines, received a text message to add a third line with the first month of service for free (in-store only). I went to my local store, added a new line and was charged $70.10 ($35 for set up and $33 for service plan fee). Now I have a $30 credit on my account, which I'm assuming is for the new line I added.
I'm just wondering if the $30 credit in my account has anything to do with the $70.10 I paid when adding the line. It feels like I paid for the month and I'm not sure how all of this works. I tried calling for info but was transferred to my local store. Also, I sent an email to customer service 2 days ago and I haven't gotten a response.
Can anyone explain this to me? I think I'm overthinking it.
