No it was purchased unlocked. Whenever I try to swap it, it says there was an error with my iccid

No but I already have a sim that works with the same phone.

If the phone that originally had that SIM was not unlocked, the SIM card won't be compatible. When activating an unlocked device, you would need the Bring Your Own Device SIM kit.
