Data was dropped after trying to fix a hot spot issue.

I purchased a hotspot and was never able to hook up to hotspot. I contacted Virgin Mobile services, was told to update my profile under settings, kept getting error com.samsungsyncservices fail, contacted samsung, encouraged to take it to a live samsung service center. I brought it to samsungservice, had to reset to factory setting, they said the software wsn't the issue, they discussed about needing to get a new sims card as the data was dropped and this may be the issue. Need a new sims card?

Waiting for SIMS card in mail, hopefully it will come tom., otherwise will be very disappointed with service and product. Didn't have problems with company until now.
