We bought a used phone, worked fine for over 2 years.. until recently, it stopped working, turns out it got blacklisted.
I called customer support, said unlock would take 10-14 days - that was well over a month ago.
Still reports as "blacklisted"
I contacted original owner and they provided me the boost mobile phone No.
It's Moto G plus (5thgen) - not top tier phone, not worth much, but still useful to keep as spare.
I haven't called back - hoping agent here can help expedite the unlock.
Hey there @V1tor We'll be more than happy to assist you. Would you please send us a private message, so we can further assist you?
To send a Private Message you can go to your profile and click on the icon with an envelope. Then you enter the username of the person you want to send a message to and the subject. Or you can go to the user profile by clicking on the username and click on "Send this user a Private Message".
Appears only way to resolve this is having PIN for when phone was set up.
Avoid buying USED Boost Mobile PHONES unless they include PIN for the account, which seems like major security flaw.
