Sorry, but unless it's one of the approved Sprint devices, Boost Mobile's network won't work with a device from another carrier even if it's unlocked. Please let me know if you have any other doubts about this topic.

I thought a "unlocked phone should by law be able to work on any carrier? Why only select phones? I have a sprint LG G4 and (was) thinking of switching to boost...but it's not on the list you posted.
What's the point of having a unlocked phone if what you say is fact? When a person buys a phone they want to keep for more than a year or however long how would you know (in advance) what phone to choose as it seems pretty random.
As when I bought my G4 from Sprint one of my thoughts was having the option to take my phone with me if I decided to leave Sprint and now find out that this is not the case (even when Boost uses Sprint system towers) seems you get screwed whatever you do.
Hi there @jun98294.
I know how disappointed you feel after realizing that your Sprint LG G4 is not compatible with Boost Mobile even though we're owned by Sprint, but this has more to do with the main programming data base than with the network we're supported by.
I can't promise you anything, but it's possible that the list of approved Sprint devices will be updated by 2017 and the LG G4 might be one of the handsets that we'll include. Your post will be useful as a good feedback for this purposes.
Please let me know if there's anything else you need help with. At your service!
