If it's one of the following SKU's, it can be used on Boost:
will models with larger storage than 32gb work on boost mobile?
Hey there @Fancy88. Did you verify the software of the device is up to date? You can also try to perform the next steps:
Go into your settings > apps and notifications > apps info > click the 3 dots top right corner > click show system > scroll all way to lg system server > click on it and then click force stop. Let us know, if this works.
Yeah, this seems to be common on the LG G6. What I've seen that works best is to disable the notification. Of course, you do this at the risk of a real water detection warning. Press on the notification when it pops up. Go to More Settings. Under Categories, it will show the USB notification. There is a 3 dot menu tap it. Set notification to Low - no sound or text.
I am also getting the Moisture Detected in USB Port message repeatedly. There is no moisture in it!!! I know this because sometimes i can just take the charger out of the phone's port and flip it upside down and plug it back in and it will start to charge. So eff'ing annoying!!!
Please note the last security update that my LG G6 is from February 1, 2019. I am seeing the non-"flagship" phones (tribute series) receive android 9. I paid a lot of $$ for this phone and I should be able to download a more recent security update, at minimum, but also download a more recent OS update.
Now that Dish is running the show, perhaps the brand known for customer service (via JD Power) will finally come through and start treating customers with respect and allow OS updates, we need. Europe received OS 9 for LG G6, but not the US.
Please! Someone escalate this to someone that cares about customer service and retention.
