I'm unable to find reliable information as to if I am able to move an LG G6 (VS988) from Verizon to Boost Mobile. When entering the phone's 15-digit device ID (IMEI) into the Bring Your Phone page (https://activate.boostmobile.com/bring-your-phone?intnav=TopNav:Phones:BringYourPhone), the response from the system is: "Something went wrong here on our end. Try entering your device ID again and be careful to enter the numbers correctly. If you continue to get this message, it may mean we are still working out the kinks." Is this because the phone is actually locked, actively in service on a Verizon account, or is it just simply not compatible with the Boost Mobile network?

Hi there, fmcjr831. Thanks for stopping by. This error message means that the device is not compatible with us. However, since the handset is still locked, we recommend you contact Verizon to get it unlocked, then try again. If the same message appears, the handset can't be activated with us.
