Locked iPhone6s Plus [Please Help]

I bought a new iPhone 6s Plus from the Boost Mobile online store, but when I tried to swap my current Boost mobile device (Samsung Galaxy J3) for the iPhone, I got a message saying the phone was locked and I am unable to swap devices.


I tried calling customer service about this, but all they told me was the iPhone is "not compatible" with my current device. To be honest, that sounds like a load of bull, since the person who responded could barely speak English.


Is there any way I can get this phone unlocked for me? I'm not even trying to switch to a different carrier, I just want to switch devices! Please help at your earliest convenience!

Hello There!

Whenever you've this type of issues you only need to perform a reset on your device. However, make sure that the iCloud option is removed. Please, follow the steps below to reset the device:


  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Scroll up and tap Reset.
  4. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
  5. Tap Erase iPhone.
  6. Tap Erase iPhone again.
