Bought the phone at a boost store & Carried service until today 03/26 & Then i switched number over to the new s9 galaxy Now they won't unlock it for me I paid almost $600 for the phone outright & am less then a few months away from activation date 06/18 Anybody know how to get it done Almost feel like they are trying to hold my phone hostage ! not switching service Just want my phone unlocked ! Thanks
Hey there, @HarleyDog103B We'd like to let you know that we do have a strong policy when it comes to this process. Boost Mobile will unlock a device under the following circumstances:
•The device has not been reported as lost or stolen or otherwise flagged as ineligible to be unlocked
•The device has been active on the associated account for at least 12 months with the account active at that time
We won't be able to unlock the phone if it doesn't meet those requirements.
