1 GB Data Pack Add-on

So, last month and just now this has happened. When i ran out of my data on my LG style 2. I purchased a 1 Gigabyte data pack add on, so my data wasn't uselessly slow for the rest of my month's plan. Everytime only .5 GB was added. Why am I only getting half of what I paid for?
