Hi there! Virgin Mobile will assist with unlocking a device under the following circumstances:
The device has not been reported as lost or stolen or otherwise flagged as ineligible to be unlocked
The device has been active on the associated account for at least 12 months with the account active at that time
You can also check our unlock policy here. If your device is not originally from Virgin Mobile, this policy does not apply. Please send me a Private Message with your phone number, PIN and the device IMEI.
I brought my own device to a new Virgin Mobile account in March. I have been told the device cannot be unlocked for international use for 1 year. I can't find this anywhere in the fine print on the Virgin Mobile web site. In this forum, I have seen that the phone can be unlocked after 14 days. Is it 14 days or 1 year? And if it is 1 year, why?
