Phone number is not eligible for porting

I tried to activate my new phone and port my number from Virgin mobile, but I'm getting a message that the number is not eligible. Is there a work around for this?

- The two MEID (or IMEI) codes from the Boost devices you wish to activate.


- The first name and last name for each Boost account.

 

- The 4-digit PIN we'll set for each Boost account.


- The e-mail and billing addresses for each Boost account.


- The monthly plan you wish to set up for each Boost account.


- Would you like to add phone insurance for $7.00 a month? Very useful in the event you may lose your phone either by misplacing it or theft. It also covers replacement service in the event of water, electrical, or physical damage.
