Ordered a new phone

So i order an iPhone 6s 16gb gray/silver on 12/12/18 for a Christmas gift hoping to receive it by Christmas. Not so long until I realized that I will not be receiving the package because it was improperly shipped and delivered ( package was shipped with no signature requirements). They decided to ship a $180.19 item for delivery with no delivery signature requirements. Surprisingly, I called in before the delivery date to request an address change or have the item held at the nearest FedEx location. The rep I spoke to when I called care told me he will take care of it. Upon recently tracking the package it says that it has been delivered. Well I didn’t a receive a package. I just got off the phone with care again and they told me to file a police report and mail it in. I will be doing that first thing tomorrow and wait to see what Boost Mobile will do about this issue.
