Getting a New Phone!

Do I have to be home to receive my new phone? It will arrive soon, but at my old address not my new one and I was curious if I had to be present to receive it or if I could pick it up later in the day.

FedEx might decide to leave the package at the front door, if specific safety requirements are met, but that requires authorization from a FedEx supervisor too. In most cases, however, you're required to be present at the time of delivery. We'll recommend you to be present when the package arrives to avoid undesired inconveniences.
