Stolen phones

If you have had phones stolen do you feel that boost mobile or T-Mobile are responsible for activating the phones that have been stolen? Or any other service provider activating a stolen phone do you feel as though they should be responsible for those stolen phones being activated and not providing that information to the authorities? I have had 7 phone stolen ranging from and A12 to  Q51. Not so much that T-Mobile or Boost Mobile should be responsible for the theft but for the activation I was told that they possessed serial numbers to.

Hello Derrick! If your phone is stolen you should call Boost® Customer Care at 1-866-402-7366  as soon as you realize your phone is lost or stolen. We can take measures to protect your active account balance as soon as you call in, and get you up and running again. This will also prevent the phone from being activated with another carrier. Once you report to Boost Customer Care that your phone is lost or stolen, you will have 60 days to replace your phone, otherwise your account will automatically cancel and you will lose any money you had left in your account.
