Why did boost mobile turn off the FM receiver chip on my phone

Hi there! We haven't made any changes to the software of our devices that would render the phone's radio capabilities unusable. On most devices, you'll need to plug in headphones in order to turn on the FM radio. The earbuds or headphones work as a receiver.

dude this thing was working before the update now no FM receiver app have access to the FM chip on the phone sooooooooooooo. and its not just my phone its a lot of phones

yes tryed differant ear phone too the phone doesnt have access to the chip

yes was trying to use it just like a 100 other times before the update the phones FM chip is unaccessable to the phone due to it being turned off in the firmware

has nothing to do with the antena

I have same issue, Samsung S10e.  Next radio used to work, now doesn't.  Wife's s5 still works on a different carrier.
