Will not stay connected

Within the last week my phone will not stay connected . Getting messages the session timed out or no internet connection within five minutes of connecting or less. Restarting the phone only works for a few minutes then, the same thing. Frustrating, it worked flawlessly up until then.

Hey there, David2! Please perform these basic troubleshooting steps:
1. Enter ##72786#. on keypad then press OK.
2. When SCRTN is change to factory default value for DSA message appears, select Yes.
3. The device power cycles.
4. Allow the hands free activation to begin automatically.
◦Note: If you accidentally hit Cancel, or Hands Free Activation does not automatically start, please power cycle the device.
5. After PRL is updated, select OK.
6. Select OK if there is a profile or firmware update.
7. The device will power cycle again.
8. When it powers on, the data services would have been reset.

Please follow these steps to reprogram the phone. This will not delete your phone information:

 

-Go to settings and make sure that the Wi-Fi is OFF and the Mobile data ON.
-Dial ##72786#.
-Phone will clear previous internal programming information and turn off then back on.
-Preparing Network will appear briefly at the top of the screen. Hands Free Activation displays.
- A confirmation message appears after the Hands Free activation is completed
-Checking for "PRL update” message appears.
-The phone will display "Preparing to restart device". The device will reboot.
-The phone will check for firmware update. "No Firmware update is available" will display. Click OK.
-The Home screen will display.

I've done that twice and still not working. I read someone else had a similar issue. It ended up being and update to the cell tower? Any thoughts or ways to find out?
