Samsung phone unable to use visual voicemail

My visual voicemail is unable to get my messages. I even pay the extra for the visual voicemail. When I click the boost mobile voicemail app on my phone it pops up a window saying please wait verifying your account information and eventually comes back with a message saying there was an error and i can call to retrieve my messages. I get a lot of spam calls thats why i was willing to pay the extra fee for the visual voicemail so i didnt have to listen to those robot spam calls and could just pick the messages that were real and listen to those. I have a Samsung A42 5g. I believe the voicemail worked when i first got this phone but its been awhile so i do not remember for sure. I have tried rebooting the phone,
