invalid sim card / sim card locked

Hi, I am getting the message the SIM card has locked. Please power cycle the device and if the problem persists contact customer service. I powered the device on and off many times. I removed the sim card and cleaned it with a cotton swab and alcohol and put it back in. The problem persists. Can you help ? I purchased the phone new directly from Boost and have been using it for 2 years.    Samsung S7 Galaxy
