Security Issue. Sensitive Data.

Boost Mobile Employee upgraded my phone to the expanded network today. After installing and activating the new SIM card that I received in the mail she would not return the old SIM card to me. Is this a security issue? Could she put the card in another phone and obtain sensitive data?

The SIM Card allows subscribers to use their mobile devices to receive calls, send SMS messages, or connect to mobile internet services.
