4G service gone after update before the most recent


After a previous software update, I had discovered that I no longer had access to the 4GLTE service that I am paying for, and have to use wifi when available. I had checked my sim card and ensured that my phone is using the proper network settings. I had received a text, informing me of a suggestion to upgrade, and request a free sim card. It had arrived today and I discovered it is a 5G sim card, which does not adhere to the dimensions for my Samsung S10 phone, so it is useless. I am asking if is possible that my sim card has to be replaced, or that boost is discontinuing 4G LTE and I will have to buy a compatible phone.
