Unable to pay for installment billing charges

Hi there, I recently changed my phone service from the $35 one to the $50 unlimited one and when I paid for my charges I was only charged $57 (service $50 + phone insurance $7). But I usually would pay a total of $75 (service $35 + insurance $7 + IB installment which is $33). Why wasn’t I charged the $33 for IB installments when I changed my plan? I tried contacting customer service twice but they were no help at all. Please let me know what I am supposed to do. As I don’t want my services to be interrupted. Thank you.
