Can I add an unlocked Samsung Galaxy s8+ to my account? And how would I do that?

Hi there, Tallilocks. The Samsung Galaxy S8+ (G955U) Open market is compatible. Note: Not wireless carrier-specific. Please enter your Device ID https://activate.boostmobile.com/bring-your-phone?INTNAV=TopNav:BYOP or visit a Boost Mobile store to check if your phone is eligible. You'll need to purchase a new SIM card when you Bring Your Own Phone from a non-Boost Mobile wireless provider.  Your new Boost Mobile SIM card will allow you to use the Boost Mobile network. To get a Boost Mobile SIM card kit, buy online, visit a Boost Mobile store or contact your local Walmart, Best Buy, or Target for product availability.

According to both best buy and Motorola website, the moto g5s plus (unlocked) is compatible with boost mobile. Web site says it's been fully tested and confirmed working on boost mobile. Is this correct?

I believe possibly that your list is behind the times. According to that list the lg g3 is not compatible either. I purchased the lg g3 from a boost mobile store and it works just fine. I'm using it right now.

Searching and posting on this exact issue, cannot get answers and cannot get this phone activated.

Took a day to resolve, but Boost_MasielQ followed up on my posts, and has me working!!!

 

Hope the info I posted here will help if anyone else experiences this issue.
