Return/Exchange phone

I just bought a Motorola moto g fast this past Thursday January 7th, 2021. It hasn't worked since I left the store. I've gone back twice to try and get it fixed. Spent 5 hours on my landline yesterday with Boost and Motorola and it still doesn't work. Turns out it's only 3G. The store didn't tell me that. If so I never would have gotten it. I tried to return it yesterday and exchange it for a a different phone but the guy at my store said that I couldn't because it's past the grace period. Is that true? I thought I had 7 days. He said 3 days. I'm furious!

Each store must follow the company-wide return policy, with no exceptions. We have a 7 days return policy.
