Moto E5 Plus says Unpaid Balance in IMEI checker
Hello! I recently purchased a Moto E5 Plus for my girlfriend, her birthday is coming up next month. I went to make sure everything is properly working with the phone before I give it to her and that her number can be ported (which it all can be.) However. If it were to be activated, apparently there would be a $10 reactivation fee? This is a brand new Moto E5 Plus I just purchased a week or two ago. So, I hopped on to an IMEI financial checker to make sure it was clean before I give it to her, just in case she doesn't like it so she can sell it. Apparently, and this is more than just 1 different source I went to, there's an unpaid balance on this phone. It's supposedly BRAND NEW, or at least it's supposed to be. I am very upset and if this doesn't get resolved, I'm telling her to stick with her current cell phone provider because a brand new phone should not have an "Unpaid balance" or a "Reactivation fee".
