Motorola e5 not receiving some texts

I bought this phone a few weeks ago and recently realized that I'm not receiving some texts from users with certain carriers.

I spoke to a help rep online and he gave me instructions to reset the phone but that still didn't help.

I'm hoping to get more specific help on this so I can start receiving all of my texts...
