That’s no good at all. Sorry you’ve been experiencing this, @mellymel212. Are you able to make and receive calls? To research further, can you send us the cross streets and ZIP codes where this occurs?
Understood. Thanks for the information. Please follow these steps to update the phone:
1.From the home screen, swipe down the Status bar.2.Tap the Settings icon.3.In the General tab, scroll to and tap System updates.4.Tap Update PRL.5.Once the PRL update is complete, tap OK.6.Tap Update Profile.7.Once the Profile update is complete, tap OK.
Once completed, please test the service and let us know the outcome.

1.From the Home screen, select the Phone icon.2.Enter ##72786#.3.Retrieve Settings window will appear4.Allow the hands-free activation to begin automatically.•Note: If the customer accidentally taps Cancel or Hands-Free Activation does not automatically start, just turn the device off and on.
Once completed, please, test the service one more time and let us know what happens.

My Galaxy s7 stopped receiving text messages on Dec. 25, 2017. People get my texts, and I can make/receive phone calls. Everything else seems to work just fine.

I'm having the same problem with my Galaxy s7. I can send texts, but cannot receive them. It started Monday, Dec, 25, 2017.
