Hello. Thank you for stopping by. The phone must meet the requirements of our unlock policy in order for us to be able to unlock it. One of the requirements is that the phone must have been active on a Boost Mobile account for at least 12 months.

1. The device has not been reported as lost or stolen or otherwise flagged as ineligible to be unlocked2. The device has been active on an account for at least 12 months.3. Also, you must know the phone number and PIN of the associated account4. A payment was made in the last 90 days.5. The device must be inside the Boost Mobile coverage (United States), and it should be on.

Thank you AmyM25 for that extremely helpful info. ( I'll be it a little ridiculous in spots for the consumer especially with some of these 2-3 + yr phones but that is not your fault.) Has there been any update to the policy , on device unlock, since DISH has acquired BoostMobile?

These are the requirements to unlock the device: -The device has not been reported lost or stolen. -The device has been activated at least 12 months before and a payment has been made in the last 90 days of that 12-month activation anniversary. -The device must be within reach of our network in the United States with the Boost Mobile SIM card. You must have the account information where the phone was or is active so we can verify that it meets the requirements.- Francisco T.
