port number to T-mobile

Any idea how to port a number, my account number is my phone number and I have my pin, when Tmobile tries to port it, virgin mobile says it is the incorrect account number and pin number, even though i can log into my account and view everything online.

Anybody had success porting away to tmobile, if so, what should i do?
