Boost employee refusing older one hundred dollar bills in retail store?
This month I walked into the Longview WA retail location to pay for my wifes cell phone service, I open wallet and pull out a $100 bill, a newer one with watermark & all the other security measures in modern bills, and am told by cleark that she will not accept that "old" of a bill? Luckily i did have a newer bill that she would accept. I did question why, but was just told thats how it is? Hopefully its not boost policy to refuse legal tender for a bill for what i assume is not having a way to test bills? Heck a local parts store has a scanner to detect counterfeit bills and am sure there is a marker type pen to check currency. Have never had anyone refuse cash for a payment?
